Ambtelijke Coördinatie CultuurEducatie is the platform for the coordination of aspects related to cultural education within the Ministry of Culture, Youth, Sports and Media.

 This platform has four main responsibilities:

• giving advice on and coordinating intra-ministerial policy initiatives and coordinating and harmonising policy initiatives at Flemish and European level;
• taking care of communication, awareness raising and image building in relation to and in dialogue with the sectors/actors involved;
• creating opportunities for practitioners to meet one another;
• developing new policy by keeping up with research projects, initiating pilot projects and taking care of knowledge acquisition and knowledge sharing.
